Privacy Policy
What are cookies?
As is common with almost all professional websites, this website uses cookies, which are tiny files that are downloaded to your computer, to improve your experience. This page describes what information they gather, how we use it, and why we sometimes need to store these cookies. We will also share how you can prevent these cookies from being stored, however, this may downgrade or ”break” certain elements of the site's functionality.
More general information about cookies can be found in the Wikipedia article on HTTP cookies.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for various reasons detailed below. Unfortunately, in most cases, there are no industry-standard options for disabling cookies without completely disabling the functionality and features they add to this site. It is recommended that you leave all cookies enabled if you are not sure whether you need them or not, in case they are used to provide a service that you use.
Disable cookies: You can prevent cookies from being set by adjusting the settings in your browser (see your browser's help for how to do this). Be aware that disabling cookies will affect the functionality of this and many other websites that you visit. Disabling cookies will usually result in you also disabling certain functionalities and features of this website. Therefore, we recommend that you do not disable cookies.
Cookies that we use
Website preference cookiesTo provide you with a great experience on this website, we provide the functionality to set your preferences for how the website operates when you use it. To remember your settings, we need to set cookies so that this information can be retrieved when you interact with a page affected by your settings.
Third-party cookies In some special cases, we also use cookies provided by trusted third parties. The following section describes which third-party cookies you might encounter on this website.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, which is one of the most widespread and trusted analytics solutions on the web to help us understand how you use the site and how we can improve your experience. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages you visit so we can continue to produce engaging content.
More information about Google Analytics cookies can be found on the official Google Analytics page.
Integration of video content
For this purpose, we use the external provider VIMEO. External providers are so-called third-party providers. To use the respective service, it is technically necessary to call up the respective provider's server. If you want to know more about the associated use of your browser's or terminal device's data, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective third-party provider listed below.
Vimeo (see also https://vimeo.com/privacy)
Our website uses plugins from the video portal Vimeo, provided by Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. Each time a page containing one or more Vimeo videos is opened, a direct connection is established between your browser and a Vimeo server in the USA. As part of this process, information about your visit and your IP address is stored there. If you interact with Vimeo plugins (e.g., clicking the start button), this information is also transmitted to Vimeo and stored there.
If you have a Vimeo user account and do not want Vimeo to collect data about you via this website and link it to your membership data stored at Vimeo, you must first log out of Vimeo before visiting our website.
We have integrated Vimeo to offer our users video material related to our products and services. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR, which permits the processing of personal data for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller.
We ensure that we only use Vimeo's service in accordance with data protection laws and that no personal data is forwarded to Vimeo without the user's explicit consent. By using our website, you consent to your data being processed by Vimeo in the manner and for the purposes stated above.
